In Ivanovo we use an r3-sector covered with ribs for increased collecting of scattered electrons.
Detector
Diffraction patterns are measured on photographic plates and films, for example MACO EM. Normal photofilms cannot be used, since they are too sensitive. For purposes of electron diffraction photo emulsion must be of low sensitivity.
